⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5– Recursion by Blake Crouch

Barry is a detective who happens to be the first to arrive at a suicide of a women who has False Memory Syndrome. Helena is a scientist who is trying to work on an instrument that could help with memories of Alzheimer’s patients. Working together, can they stop this instrument from falling into the wrong hands.

What I loved: the plot line as a whole. Every novel crouch has written hooks me in immediately. I found the story of both characters to be wonderfully done. I didn’t feel myself yearning for one story line over the other. Then when their storylines finally collide it was everything I wanted. Their story was more intertwined than I was originally expecting but it was everything I didn’t realize I wanted! I will stop here to not give away any spoilers!

What I didn’t: I loved Barry and Helena and it took a little too long for their storylines to collide in my opinion.

I loved this book and read it in two sittings. Highly recommend whether you like science fiction or not!
