I don't know. This is my first Archie comic outside of Archie Horror or Riverdale, so I'm not entirely a fan of all of these characters the way they're portrayed here. I know originally Reggie was created to be Archie's rival, but I kind of miss the bimbo queen he was in Riverdale. 

Same thing with Veronica and Betty. I know they are also supposed to be rivals fighting for Archie's love and attention, but I would think that we'd have gotten past that by 2016? Of course, it's early into the run and things could change. But so far, it's just. Betty and Veronica fighting over Archie. Doesn't it get old after 50 years?? At the peak of third wave feminism, we're still writing entire comics dedicated to two teenage girls fighting over a boy because that's what they were created to do over 50 years ago?? 

I also kind of miss Veronica from Riverdale and her relationship with Smithers that keeps popping up in RAS' projects. I think the reformed mean girl is a fun subversion of the archetype and the relationship she has with Smithers shows a sweet side of both of them and is just way more realistic considering she's the daughter of a billionaire who probably wouldn't have been super present and she would need someone to actually care for her. 

I'm not a huge fan of the art style, but the lettering for the chapter titles are super fun. The paneling is eh. I've seen better, but I've also seen worse.
