gnitro 's review for:
A Court of Thorns and Roses
by Sarah J. Maas
This book took awhile to truly pull me in completely. The one constant from beginning to end is that Feyre is a fascinating character, but I felt like the rest of the cast took some time to really get me to completely warm up to them. It wasn't until the truth surrounding all the early events reveals itself, that I truly became engrossed in the story and all the characters. My desire to see the outcome became too strong, that I couldn't even put the book down for the last 100 or so pages. One other issue I had was I felt some sequences of events were not fully developed as I would have liked, especially some within the middle of the book. While not as good of a series debut as A Throne of Glass in my opinion, I definitely look forward to starting book two as soon as possible.
