One of the most complex and abstract story I have read in a long time. It reads almost like Neil Gaiman novel, more regarding to content rather than style.

This book has a lot of offer: thoughts on death, immortality, and stories and an interesting look on crow behavior.

Dar Oakley's adventures take him to various times and places. Each one is interesting and carries its own weight to it. Many of the themes are somewhat deep and tough to figure out, making me wish I had more people to discuss the book with. Apparently this author is woefully underappreciated and I feel bad for anyone missing out.

I definitely recommend this book to any fans of magical realism, intense discussions on the ideas of life and death, and crows.
