I'm so glad I was finally able to read one of Giovanna's books. I've fallen in love with her bubbly personality on YouTube and I think her sense of humour and frankness, comes across really well within the pages of You're the One That I Want.

I'm really glad that Maddy did end up with

at the end. I felt like he was the braver one, the risk taker.

Ben

was just a bit weak and cowardly in my opinion.

I totally get being in love with another person but for that long, and when it's with your best friend's girl, you'd think you'd kick it after a few years. I hated Ben and Maddy's 'night of revelations'. I just felt it was really bad form. Yes, Robert had cheated but that didn't mean Ben could swoop in and just mess Maddy's feelings about. I feel like Maddy didn't really love Ben...it was a just a moment of chemistry.
