I really wish I could give this a higher rating, but.......

Nah.

This is unfortunately very surface level. There's nothing here that will give you any interesting insight into Clark Kent as a person, nor into Lana Lang or Lex Luthor. The mystery is sub par, the immigration storyline is awfully written and shoehorned in, and Clark's one whole chapter of stupid teen angst after finding out about his Kryptonian past is dumb.

It passed the time in audiobook form on my long commutes, but this is probably the weakest of the DC Icons series and a not so great attempt at making Superman modern.

I need a good Clark Kent story one day. I NEED IT.
