Don is different to everyone else and he knows it!
He has routines, down to the second for EVERYTHING including what he is having for dinner that night (Lobster on Tuesday, kept in the bath until he kills it!)
He decides that it’s high time that he gets himself a partner and so starts “The Wife Project”
A questionnaire is prepared for all candidates to complete and it is passed out in hilarious fashion on speed dating nights, online dating sites and randomly wherever he sees fit.
The questionnaire is precise …..I mean really precise, Height, Weight, BMI (to make sure that the candidate can complete mundane maths problems), do you smoke? Drink? How often? Etc. etc. etc. …. Some of the questions are ridiculous, but Don doesn’t see this as he is wired differently, although it isn’t actually stated, Don is clearly on the Autism scale, probably Asperger, ironically what he is studying!!
Then a curve ball is thrown in……..Rosie!
Rosie is the complete opposite of what Don “thinks” he wants, she smokes, drinks, swears like a sailor and has bright red hair.
This book was very funny and I enjoyed it very much, it made me laugh out loud quite a few times reading the antics that they get up to, and Dons general weirdness.
A fun filled 4 ☆ read.
