It was a good book, the action was fun, the plot was interesting, I love Helen and OMG I love Arland. He stole my heart. He is funny, considered and respectful❤️.
The only but in all this is that Maud is too perfect. She knows all of this languages that she shouldn’t know, is a genius, is pretty and is really good at fighting.
The thing is she is human, but is so damn good at everything that she beats vampires in war, and in fights and in everything, so it felt kinda forced or fake, aren’t vampires supposed to be really strong supernatural beings?? They felt pretty human in this book.
