Personally, I think this series should have stayed a trilogy. I also think not remembering what happened in the last book didn't help me much here. Maybe eventually I'll read them all again and it will make more sense!

I think these last three books made the story too complex, honestly. It was somewhat difficult to keep track of who was on what side. And there was a lot of back and forth with that in this book. Overall, a decent finale that would probably read better if I remembered more.
