4.5 / 5 ~ I didn't think I'd ever read a book about surviving a pandemic after the last couple of years we've had, but for some reason (maybe the queer relationship at the centre of this story) I picked this one up, and I don't regret it a bit.
The story follows two boys trying to make it through life after the superflu virus killed off 99% of the population.
Seeing how the people who survived are now starting to rebuild society in different ways was really interesting.
But what moved me the most was the relationship that gradually built between Andrew and Jamie. Their love for each other was so soft and warm and
This book may deal with a topic many of us have found difficult recently. But ultimately it is full of love and hope and I cannot recommend it enough.
