The Wright Brothers by David McCullough
5.0

This book was my introduction to David McCullough, and it was a wonderful way to start. There were never too many characters or intersecting events (which can happen in a biography), and I was able to keep track of everyone easily. I have gained respect for Wilber and Orville Wright, and for the lesser known Katharine, who was the glue that held the family together. I enjoyed McCullough's narrative style. It wasn't packed with events and details; there was a story behind the hard work, dates, many flyers they built, and the path to patenting their idea. I highly recommend David McCullough's book. It was a wonderful ode to two brilliant men.
