Did I Mention I Love You?
by Estelle Maskame
So, this book was not for me. this can be an easy and fluffy read, but there were to many annoying things for me.
I did finish it because the easy read was very welcome during a time of a lot of hard work, it was book of the month at Books Ever After and it is perfect for the hard 2016 BEA challenge 'a book with the word love in the title.
But the main character is just to selfish with everything she wants to know, whether or not he wants to tell them. He is too much bad boy, she wants to fix him too desperate. there is too much alcohol abuse in this book, and too much smoking.
I do like the idea, why not fall in love with your stepbrother? yes, it is a bit weird, but you are not blood-related and it makes Christmas planning really easy, so I like that part of the story.
but this series is not for me. And with the 'So many books, so little time'-argument, I will not continue this series. I've got more books to read I will enjoy more :) I disliked this book, but somehow 1* feels to harsh because I don't hate it as much as i hate other books I've rated 1*, so hence the 2* rating.
