First of all, Jami Attenberg is an amazing writer. Andrea felt so real, and so realistic and her complexities seemed true to life, brilliantly captured on the page. But dang, did I hate her for the first 3/4 of this book! (A true testament to the author's skill, really.) But once we get closer to the end, having spent quite some time with Andrea, she grows on us.
