Incubus Dreams
by Laurell K. Hamilton
I had forgotten how much I liked this book. Jason and Nathaniel's character development. A whole 40+ pages of just Anita, Richard and Jean-Claude as exhausting as it was it so rarely happens in this series. A bunch of new, exotic vampires, including Wicked Truth, whom I enjoy. Zebrowski in charge. A deeper look at the vampire church and how things work. A lot of deep interpersonal talks that I'm still a little envious of. The fact that they can talk to each other about stuff like this even when things are not great is amazing. Most people don't have these kinds of talks with friends or lovers a d they should.
