My feelings for this book are largely the same as what I had for the last book: that it is a breathtaking work of literary genius whose only sin is a godawful love triangle. Literally, it’s the ONLY thing I don’t like about this series.
Bree continues to amaze me! The way she plans and circumvents other people’s plans. How she unifies and connects with all of her different magics! I’m simply in awe!! William can do no wrong and he needs more love! Sel’s slow decent is a beautiful thing to behold, the same way a wildfire is beautiful. Nick… well he helped move the plot I guess.Idk what you want from me, he wasn’t IN the book very much and I’m not overly attached to him. He moves the plot and I approve that I worry for Alice every day and with good reason!!! She’s just a person! She is squishy and cannot magic up any armor or weapons! Please can we get her some Kevlar?!?? Her absorbing people’s magic better come into play! I want her to end up this jack of all trades
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful story! Bring on Oathbound!
