I am at a lost for words......this story was simply beautiful. The faith that one boy has through something that is life changing.

Character development was off, I didn't have a clear pictures of the two main characters very well. I got their personalities but what did they look like? What race are they? What color hair do they have? Those questions I asked as I read this book.

It isn't very clear what problems David's problems are that lead to the trip that changes their lives forever.

The plot has a heart wrenching twist that I didn't see coming, heart breaking can't describe what David felt. He felt emotions even deeper then that. I think anyone would though in the situation he was in though.

This book was a tear jerker. I broke into tears several time through out the novel. You defiantly need a box of tissues next to you as you read.

I found the end was rushed. Like the author wanted it to end.

Here are other things that I wandered about that are spoilers, read at your own risk:

Spoiler The man who takes Mirza is very sketchy, though you get the creepy vibe off him what did he do? What did he do that the police had to block off the road? If they knew what he looked like why was he allowed in the rest stop?

Though Mirza was murdered what did who do to her? Was she suffocated? Hit her head? Slit her throat? Did he rape her?

I keep asking those questions and they aren't answered. Maybe they will be in the next book.

Usually I don't read this kind of genre, though I am catholic and believe in god I don't read about it. I am glad I took the time to read this story though. Everybody will get something from this story.
