I really enjoyed read Emma. Jane Austen has such a wonderful way of painting a picture of the times, and her characters! I've never been so thourghly annoyed by a character as Mrs. Bates! I found myself several times throwing my hands up thinking "Silly woman!"

I will definitely be reading more of Austen's works.
