This is AMAZING. A glimpse into the history of Indianapolis by way of Oscar Robertson and the incredible Crispus Attucks High School basketball teams of the 1950s. Hoose starts us out with the Great Migration bringing Black folks north, and leads into how Crispus Attucks High School was founded, and then their struggles in getting a team established and allowed to compete. The result of all of these points of history woven together is a riveting narrative of the team and its place in making history in Indiana.
