I went back and looked at my reviews of the other two books and feel as though I have the same feelings about this one, which one big difference. While I mostly liked the first two books, I didn't like this final one. Ringer is not one of my favorite characters, ever, and I hated that she became pretty much central to the story and this book. Cassie went from a character I liked to one that just annoyed me. There were chapters that were long and drawn out. But the thing I liked the least was the big reveal dealing with the aliens. It is always a bad thing when an explanation for why they are there has to be explained not once, not twice, but countless times. And the explanation wasn't that shocking or even interesting. The books got worse as they went on and this conclusion wasn't the greatest. Disappointing.
