Unfinished Summer
by Rachel De Lune, Rachel De Lune
A small town contemporary romance that takes place in the most beautiful settings. I loved Rachel's books before, but this one just touched differently on so many levels.
Told in dual perspectives, from teenagers to now adults, Zenner and Jayce have a great start in life with friendships and those first sparks of love.
They both are so reliable and made mistakes as any young adults.
But now, twenty years later, crossing paths and revising all those past moments as well as what happened to each one of them in the leading years, they gave love a second chance.
It's emotional, with many great side characters and a lot of introspection. Coping mechanisms of past mistakes and hardships play a big impact on their lives as well. And the surf addition was really interesting to see in a romance set in the UK. I have read none like this before.
Beautiful, heartwarming and adorable story.
