The Reckless Union
by Monica Murphy
We left off the second book with quite a cliffhanger, which I won’t spoil, although you probably should go back and read the first two books before you read this review!
The way she is able to get out of that situation was suspenseful, but perfect! I really liked that it was a little different than the usual being rescued type of solution. I like that both of our main characters have pretty much gotten past the distrust of each other stage. They don’t even let anyone else convince them that there is any possibility the other one doesn’t care or would leave them. While I feel like Perry’s family is a little more likable than Charlotte’s, at least parent-wise, I’m glad that Charlotte’s brothers show more that she is important to them in this conclusion to the trilogy.
There were also some details given about Seamus and just what his actual reasoning behind coming back into Charlotte’s life was. It was a little different than I think I’ve read in similar stories, so I liked that uniqueness to the story. Overall this was a good series, a quick read for each book, with some steamy scenes in there as well!
