As I have said many times in the past, I do not review true stories or stories based very similar to true events (like this book).

What gives me the right to judge someone’s experiences and hardships?

All I will say is this book was beautifully written and extremely heart breaking. I highly recommend reading this book but it is not for the light hearted.

I also do want to put out a trigger warning for rape & attempted rape in two different occasions in the book.
