Thank you Allida and Libro FM for the gifted audiobook of through their Educator ALC program! All opinions in this review are my own.
My favorite aspect of You Are Here: Connecting Flights was how all the stories were woven together! I loved how the main characters from other stories would appear for short cameos in others, but each story felt distinctly its own.
On a more important note, this book shows how the smallest of actions or words can reverberate and affect many people. There is a women and her son who harrass multiple characters throughout this book and make discriminatory comments. The son makes a comment to one character and it is heard by many others. Not only is the character who the comment was aimed at is hurt, but many others in the vicinity. The authors did an excellent job of showing how "only one" comment or action can have a much larger impact.
