Maybe I'm not equipped to read classic novels because I didn't care for this one. Although there were some parts of this novel that were creepy, it wasn't enough for me. Eleanor's character would have to be my favorite though because she alone gave me weird vibes, but I definitely wanted more and I guess with all the talk on the TV show, I expected it to be a book I wouldn't be able to read at night time. I felt bored a little bit and I think overall, I'm not a good resource of answering if this is worth the read because there are so many good reviews about this but it just didn't work for me the way I wanted it to. I am going to start the show for my first time so I'm definitely intrigued to see how that differs and I have a feeling I will enjoy it a lot more.
