Zuri is right. This book is hair love. Zuri gets her hair done by her dad, and certain styles makes her feel certain ways, but today is speical and she has to have the most special hair ever. It’s up to her, her dad, a tablet and some videos, but they will create an awesome do for an awesome day. I love that this book shows Dad doing hair. Readers need to see more of these things, and that traditional gender roles need not apply.
