The writing was good, it made me feel like I was the character the whole time while reading this. It's a bit depressing but sometimes it's also hilarious. Norwegian Wood is my first Murakami read and it left such a good first impression that I hurried myself to buy another book by Murakami (Kafka on the shore which was different from this one but also super good). This one is a must read, I'll definitely recommend this book to everyone.
