A Court of Thorns and Roses

sad
fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven:
A mix
Strong character development:
No
Loveable characters:
Complicated
Diverse cast of characters:
No
Flaws of characters a main focus:
Complicated
Overall Thoughts:
⁕ I didn’t totally believe the romance between Tamlin and Feyre (please don’t hate me for saying this, I know a lot of people on here ship them hard). I wanted a more concrete moment that changed their dynamic from “enemies” to potential lovers, but I just didn’t get it.
⁕ The relationship between Feyre and her family is real and raw and beautiful! Ugh, I could scream about the complexity of Nesta all day.
⁕ Maas does an excellent job of creating a sense of mystery around the larger conflicts of the story. I had a blast trying to piece together all the clues that are littered in the text.
