Onyx takes place right after Obsidian. Katy and Daemon are facing the DOD this time and are trying to stay out of their lives. A new boy named Blake moves in and starts to seek out Katy romantically, but he says he can help Katy with her problems. Can he really?
With Blake being in the picture, I really thought it was hilarious how Daemon would “purposely” forget his name each time and make up a new name to annoy Katy. Katy’s growth was great. I really enjoy Katy because she is a bookworm with a blog and isn’t super skinny and considers herself curvy, which is amazing. Daemon is hilarious as ever and has the best one liners. The ending was an oh my gosh ending and made me crave the sequel right away. Highly recommend this series so far.
