This gave me Spiderwick Chronicle vibes, the set up is really similar in the sense that a young person finds out there is a world they couldn't see before and has to help save it. Though something in my gut said the Spiderwick Chronicles were much darker then this is.

The keeper of the Little Folks is incredibly wholesome and outside of the implication of a woman being forced into marriage, it is not very dark.
