Out on a Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young
5.0

This has to be one of my top reads this year. It was beautiful! It's not very often that a story really resonates and captures your heart and is just so meaningful, but this is that story. I'm not normally a person who likes the accidental pregancy trope, but this was just so good and was done so well. I loved Win and Bo together, and the author did a fantastic job in representing both of their disabilities. Win has a lime difference (she was born with a hand that is smaller than normal, and it affects her daily life) and Bo is an amputee with a prosthesis on one of his legs. I think what made them so perfect is they just GOT each other, because they understood what it was like to be different and to struggle with having disabilities, in a way that no one else in their lives truly could. I loved that Win was so dedicated and committed to one day founding a camp for kids with disabilties. Bo was the perfect book boyfriend and there was plenty of spice in here! This was a very special book.
