I'd been curious about this book for some years because I knew just a little but I didn't dare myself to read it.
Still, I got curious one more time thanks to one of my friends in here who began to read this book a few days ago and thought: Why not?
Well, it was a really good decision. I did cry and suffer and ponder a lot of things. It was a wild journey.
Very well written and easy to comprehend, I dare to say that I liked it and I'm looking forward to read the rest of the Dollenganger series.
SPOILER:
I'm really looking forward to see some kind of revenge from the eldest siblings but more than that, I want to know how they fared after those years hidden and forgotten in some old manor in which they learned the hard way that parental love isn't universal. That parents (specially, mother's) aren't always loving and caring, that there are bad people in the world and some of them are part of our family.
I do recommend this book but I have to say that you should try to be open minded, try not to get influenced by the incest propaganda, but to see what's being told.
