This was a very soft, sweet, and heartwarming book. It had many elements I like (and I was not surprised it was influenced by Patricia A. McKillip, the writing style was quite similar) and many elements that I usually hate (one character is too good to be true and the other wallows in self-pity) but somehow I didn't mind and enjoyed every second of it. Even the instalove didn't bother me at all. I don't know how the author managed it, good job.
