I’m not quite sure if the point of this novella. Yes, it was nice to revisit these characters, but I don’t think it served any purpose except to stir up a whole host of questions that don’t seem to be grounded in anything. There’s not going to be another fallen crest book, and there wasn’t really a crew storyline. Yes, we got some more information leading to Nate’s book but I think it could’ve been done without all the unnecessary drama.
What I’d really love is to see more of is mummy and daddy Sam and Mason. I’d love to see them progress past where they’ve always been. You get glimpses, but I just don’t feel like it’s enough.
