Just finished reading The Hunger Games for the first time, and even after seeing the movies, the book hits different. You really get into Katniss's head, feeling everything she's going through. Suzanne Collins builds this world that's both brutal and strangely hopeful. Every page is packed with tension, and it makes you think about some heavy stuff. If you've only seen the movies, picking up the book adds so much more depth and understanding.
