A cute apocalypse story. Can a story about kids vs. zombies actually be cute? Apparently. The set up is a mix between pictures/story panels and actual writing. This rag tag group of kids are literally on their own during the end of the world. I love how they came up with names for the monsters and each kid had their own personality and traits. The clown/leader, the smart kid, the bully, and the girl who is NOT a damsel in distress (as she put it). Overall, I'd say if zombies and middle grade/kids books are you thing, you may like this one.
