Overall, following Moist von Lipwig has been a very good introduction to Discworld. I did read before starting that Raising Steam is the penultimate book in the Discworld, and that put a number of things into perspective. I would say that Raising Steam is very philosophical and very clever at looking at the affects of modernization. I'm looking forward to continue my meandering journey through Discworld.
