the description of cinderella meets ACOTAR with a sprinkle of the section.

i found it a bit too similar to those above mentioned books. There is a lot of similarities especially to Maas’ book, so that it almost reads like a Fanfiction of that series. 

which isn’t necessarily negative but it’s also not well enough done that it’s fantastic. 

the writing is okay, the characters as well which overall describes my experience with this book overall: okay.

i did. like that it’s unclear which of the guy is actually good or bad. 

i would have liked this entire story more if it wasn’t so focused on driving the trope of Brie being this special little Unicorn snowflake home as much, but oh well. 

this is a nice story and an absolute must read if you crave the Maas ACOTAR series but don’t want to reread the same books but rather want a little difference? 
go for it!
