Book two in the Cherry Tree Harbor series and somehow the author outdoes herself with every new book release. Tropes include forced proximity, celebrity/bodyguard, opposites attract and only one bed. That’s all I needed to know before I added this to my TBR but getting Xander’s book after loving him in Runaway Love really sealed the deal for me. Give me a man in a romance who is a little cocky and flirty about it and I’m 🫠 His chemistry with Kelly was sizzling and their banter was top notch, so many scenes between these two made me cackle. This also had a super cozy feel as they hid out during Kelly’s vacation and created their own safe haven with each other and it was just too cute. Loved everything about this one and can’t wait for the next book.
