I'm still trying to decide what I think about this book. I love Hilary McKay--and her writing here does not disappoint. But...part of me loved making up my own ending to "A Little Princess" and I'm not sure I agree with how things ended.

The book continues the story of Lottie, Ermengarde and Lavinia in Miss Minchin's school after Sara leaves, with Ermengarde as the narrator.
