First thing first: I usually read Jason's book so my impression of the book comes from reading the book and the blog post.
I liked this book, I found it an enjoyable and informative read.
I'm not into any "witch war" that means that I'm not interested in the discussion if wicca and witchcraft are interchangeable or not.
As I read Jason's ideas about other religion I didn't find that he dismissed other religions. As far as I know each of us is looking for something into a set of religious ideas and that said there's something interesting and attractive in all religion
I know that I liked this book. I liked the style of writing and I liked the rituals, the examples and the historical parts.
