Christian is a sweet, bighearted, vulnerable and sometimes absentminded man who I just want to give a big squishy hug. He lives in a share house with an amazing found family and money struggles are a major part of his life. Emile is from an extremely wealthy family who also happen to epitomise the word toxic. His sister is the only family member he has any time for and all he wants is for his wealth to be used to genuinely help people.

Circumstances bring these two wonderful men together and so begins a relationship where they do everything the wrong way round and still manage to achieve the most heartwarming HEA. Also enjoying some hot and steamy times mixed with some tenderness and a swoon moments. All aided and abetted by the great cast of characters that make up the share house.

I went from laughing at the mishap that is Christian at his cousins wedding, anger towards his parents/extended family, possibly dropping a tear or two at how Emile’s family treated Christian to having the biggest smile on my face at the end. This is a beautiful story of found family and no matter in what way it happens, having your forever person always by your side. I can’t wait for more of the residents of Big Boned Bertha having their stories told.
