The first 3/4 of this booked sucked so badly I put it down months ago and only just came back to it. It wasn't until Janco, Ari and Valek came into the story that I found it even remotely interesting. It was forced and boring.
If I hadn't borrowed this series and already had them sitting on my bookshelf I wouldn't bother with the next in the series. Even with it sitting there I'm not sure I'll pick it up.
