I loved the language in this book and the unique telling from Constanta. Many parts of this book were interesting and the overall dynamic of the “vampire family” was definitely freaky lol. “come over here and kiss your sister” was a crazy line even if they aren’t actually related i was like this man is a freak. I enjoyed Magdalena and Constanta’s relationship and loved how Alexi brought a bit of flare and energy to the family. It was sad to see how Dracula sucked the life out of things they enjoyed; Constanta with her religion and love for other people, Magdalena with her love for politics and keeping in touch with important figures as well as freedom, and Alexi with his love for theater and making friends. I think the ending of this book fell a bit flat for the buildup that was given tho. Still a fun vampire read for the spooky month of October!
