Alright alright it’s another one.
So many words. There is no reason for all of the words. None that I could find anyway.
This book had every you want in a fast paced story. It has mystery, intrigue, danger - and also a bunch of words that slow that page waaaay down to a crawl. I’m not a fan of slow paced books. This one was also broken up into 3 or 4 page chapters which in my honest opinion, rendered entire chapters unnecessary to the overall story.
On the other hand though, I can see why most people will disagree with me. The commentary included in these words that I personally deem “extra”, many will agree were absolutely necessary to the plot. I like simple, this happens to be extra. There’s nothing wrong with that at all - just makes it less my cup of tea than I thought it would be.
Story wise though, this is it. As I said it has everything you could want. It’s the beginning of a series which I can definitely see going somewhere. So here’s the fun part - I still have to know what happens next so I’ll absolutely be picking up the next book when it’s available! It’s so interesting! The style isn’t my favorite but for a good story I can absolutely get past it. This is one of those stories.
⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 rounded up as always.
