meh, I didn't like it. Firstly, vampires are boring. Secondly, the protagonist was boring and annoying for most of the book. Thirdly, the book seemed so outdated (well it is but not all old books feel so outdated). Fourthly, the science made me laugh.
Are people still afraid of vampires? I'm not. Don't think I ever was. I hated Anne Rice's book and loved What We Do In The Shadows, I also loved the I Am Legend movie so this book was really not for me. But I did manage to finish it. I was rewarded with an interesting ending. That's about it.
