Their Ball Boy
by Addison Beck
When I tell you I did not expect what I got from this book..
There was a little of everything in this one.
Tension.. sexual tension is best of them all.
Emotions.. Bryson you sweet sweet boy.
Spice.. oh the spice is just -chefs kiss-
Dirty Talk.. yes ma'am did Addison bring it in LOADS
The pet names.. please with this because I couldn't get enough!
This took me longer than I thought it would to read but only because when it came to Bryson, it hit home. Anxiety & insecurities are a bitch, plain and simple. His POVs gutted me especially when it came to himself and how he was feeling. The feelings he was feeling came across exactly as they should.
Jaundi & Dalton are what sexual tension is, what you believe is hate is actually more and when it finally breaks, be prepared because damn was it soo good with these two.
Jaundi is what we expect from the out and proud but there is always that under lining that we don't get until that proper moment and it fits right where it should.
Dalton was the surprise for me. He fit the "daddy" role to a T inside and outside of the bedroom. Throughout the book he's the one that kept me on my toes wondering what was going to happen. Did I want to nut punch him at one point? yes, yes I did. You'll get it once you read it.
For a somewhat long book it works, If it were shorter I think it would feel rushed. Everything was how it should be and in the end I finished with a smile and that's the best way to finish a new book from a new to me author.
Now, Max... I need his story because he had me curious throughout once he had his "moment". I cannot wait for his book and I love a best friend who realizes his life is changing.
