Scarlet Spider, Volume 3: The Big Leagues
by Nick Spencer, Christopher Yost
More goodness. Better than the last volume, not as good as volume 1. However, Kane is a fucking great character.
The very first issue here was too funny. Basically he learns that he loves a girl, but afraid his past would hurt her, yet thanks to the silliest villain ever and some bull riding he learns love is strong and you must challenge it. Fun times.
Then SS is sent on a mission to kill Wolverine. This is a great issue too, mostly to watch him take down nearly the whole X-Mansion. Fun times, good laughs, and the ending brought Wolverine and Kane to team up...which was kind of boring.
The team up with Superior was interesting but also not that great. It had some interesting concepts about what clones are, and watching Superior Spider-man not give a fuck is always a pleasure. But overall it could have been a better teamup.
On to the final volume!
