Love Me A Little
by Avery Easton
As a lover of musicals, this book won me over immediately!
BLURB:
Ethan Carter, the absolute sweetest Broadway lead, prefers to keep his life private. Traumatic pieces of his past make him fearful to let new people in.
Evie O'Hara is grieving the loss of her husband, but watching Ethan's performances and music have helped in her journey of healing.
When their lives collide for weekend, sparks FLY. Ethan and Evie don't understand how they can feel as though they've know each other for a lifetime.
As their time together is limited, they make the most of every moment, wondering what it means that they both have such strong feelings yet so many fears and barriers to overcome...
REVIEW:
I couldn't get enough of this!!!
At only 229 pages, this story flies by while somehow still leaving a massive imprint on my heart.
The characters were complex and loveable. The romance was believable. And the struggles they faced were so genuine and relatable.
Evie did a beautiful job showing what grief would be like when trying to love again, and a HEALTHY relationship in which the two figure out how to navigate those difficult waters. Ethan is such a sweetheart.
If the musical references aren't enough, Avery also has a playlist for this book!!!! She's amazing.
There are several books in the Hearts of Broadway series and I can't wait to read them all!
