Sad sad sad. Weirdly, time moved so fast and tragedy was so normal that I was never super sad when a character died.

Noa’s death was so unceremonious and the story jumped straight to a different perspective afterwards so we never really got to sit in it. I also wished we got a perspective from his children, since the story focused so much on Sunja and Hansu I thought we might follow their lineage more. Although I guess what we’re supposed to take from the story is that Isak was always Noa’s father.

I cried at the very end but never before.
