In this stand alone novel with follow Tana as she has to decide if she will follow the chosen path that lays in front of her (expected of her from her family and coven) or if she will follow her heart and become the witch she is destined to be! Tana has always know she was to marry the Governor's son, from the mainland,  Landon, who is a nice enough individual but doesn't make her feel alive. Tana does not feel sparks when she thinks of or even interacts with Landon.
